The P̶e̶r̶f̶e̶c̶t̶ One

The Perfect One — a short interactive narrative game about two people, the little things they share, and what happens when those things begin to change.

(pls play it. seriously. i really don’t wanna spoil this one for you.)

Meet someone.

Spend time together.

Cook dinner. Clean the house. Go for a walk. Argue over things that once didn’t matter.

And, little by little, watch an ordinary relationship become something much harder to understand.

-Small things matter.-

There are no complicated controls here.

Click something.

Drag something.

Hold on to something.

Sometimes, the smallest action can say more than a whole conversation.

-Day by day.-

Relationships rarely change all at once.

Sometimes it happens quietly.

A different look.

A longer silence.

A routine that doesn’t feel the same anymore.

Some moments are warm.

Some are uncomfortable.

And some stay with you much longer than you expected.

-You don’t just watch it.-

The story moves through the things you do.

A pause.

A repeated movement.

A sound.

A picture that becomes harder to see.

You are not standing outside their relationship.

For a little while, you are living inside it.

-Hold on to what you have.-

What do we keep after someone is gone?

A photograph?

A habit?

A memory?

Or just the version of them we wanted to remember?

And when everything changes...

how do you know when it is finally time to move forward?

Today is all we have.

And if you want to quit the game, I’m definitely NOT going to tell you that it’s ESC  :(
